About Dr. Ames

Anne C. Ames, DPM has practiced podiatry for over 20 years and has practiced in Austin at her current office for the past 14 years. Dr. Ames is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine sixth in a class of 92, and her surgical residency was completed at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Ames is a member of Pi Delta National Honor Society and a recipient of the Dr. Marjorie C. Sitkoff Memorial Award, given to the female student achieving the highest scholastic average and epitomizing the highest ideals of today's professional woman. She also participates in a number of professional organizations. Dr. Ames has served as a faculty member teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II and has also been a clinical lab instructor. In her free time, Dr. Ames enjoys yoga, tennis, swimming, and cycling.
